ASTEERICS : « Attractivity, Services, Trainings to Energy Efficient Reach on Integrated Circuits and System »
ASTEERICS*, the French Chips Competence Center, is funded by the European Union under the Chips JU and supported by the French State through the “Compétences et Métiers d’Avenir” call for projects under the France 2030 investment plan, operated by Caisse des Dépôts [Banque des Territoires]. ASTEERICS is coordinated by Minalogic, in partnership with CNFM, Captronic, and 5 other clusters (Aktantis, Alpha-RLH, Images & Réseaux, Smart Power, and Systematic Paris-Region).
ASTEERICS aims to make microelectronics more accessible, more inclusive, and better controlled, while strengthening European technological sovereignty to help double semiconductor production in Europe by 2030.
Main Objectives
The main objective is to strengthen microelectronics skills in France and Europe, while facilitating companies’ transition toward integrated circuit technologies.
ASTEERICS training activities and support for startups and SMEs are fully subsidized (100%) through the France 2030 and EU Chips JU programs.
Promote technologies and stakeholders in France and Europe (foundries, IDMs, fabless companies, design houses, OSAT, EMS, etc.)
Train and support stakeholders in the microelectronics sector in high energy-efficiency technologies (FD-SOI, GaN, SiC, etc.)
Raise awareness among decision-makers and provide them with specific training on sovereign solutions (ASSP, FPGA, ASICs, etc.)
Support companies in their ASIC or ASSP development projects (risk reduction, guidance, etc.)
